Review: The Brothers Apothecary CBD-infused teas

Many find tea and hot cocoa to be soothing beverages. I enjoy having a cup of tea before bed. When I began to explore CBD edibles, I discovered that companies were infusing CBD into a variety of beverages.

The Brothers Apothecary offer a nice selection of CBD teas. Each pouch contains 3 tea bags, with each tea bag containing a generous 62.70 mg dose of CBD. The tea bags include a variety of tea leaves, spices and herbs along with coconut milk, which the company states is included "used as a lipid to increase CBD absorption."

I have tried the Pumpkin Spice Chai and the Golden Dream variety. I also received a sample of the Peppermint Chocolate Trip, which is a CBD-infused hot cocoa powder. The tea bags were a nice size and definitely had a strong hemp aroma upon opening the bag. The hemp could be tasted in the tea, but was not overbearing to me, as the spices and herbs in the tea blended nicely together. The peppermint cocoa sample was also tasty. I mixed it together with coconut milk.

My only wish is to be able to buy the CBD-infused tea in larger quantities and for a more affordable price. Each pouch is $15, meaning each tea bag is $5. Some customers re-used tea bags, getting 2 servings out of each bag, which would help cut down on cost.

In addition to teas, The Brothers Apothecary offers CBD capsules, CBD-infused honey sticks and skin care products with CBD.
